In the balance between security and liberty, the Obama regime has gone too far. The obtrusive, offensive, and unconstitutional searches of airline travellers must end.
Under what legal theory do we believe that airports are Constitution-free zones? Under what legal theory can it be implied that a commercial transaction between private parties (purchasing an airline ticket) comprises a waiver of Constitutional rights?
Under what legal theory does the Obama regime assume that American citizens that do not qualify for even a Terry stop can be subjected to sexual assault or a strip search merely because they want to travel?
Why does the "brilliant" Obama need to be told that treating each and every airline passenger as as a potential terrorist is anti-intellectual? Is EVERY traveller a potential terrorist? And, we are willing to trust the controls of a plane to a pilot, but we want to search him for explosive underwear first? We do have a description of suspect airline bombers/hijackers. Let's put those people to enhanced searches. It is usually those people who are waved through security, sacrificing real airline safety and civil rights of travellers on the altar of political correctness.
I understand why Obama would innately be drawn to Soviet-style police state searches of American citizens, but even the KGB targeted its efforts. Even authoritarian overseas regimes in terrorist-rich regions do not subject travellers to physical assaults and strip searches to travel. I know, I've travelled there.
Congress needs to step in now and end the offensive touchings and virtual strip searches immediately. A valid, effective security process would involve merely this - metal detectors for persons, x-ray the belongings, and send everything past an explosives sniffer (either mechanical or animal). Instead of spending money on a radiation-spewing back scatter device, we should have spent the funds on a combination x-ray machine/explosive compound detector. Enhanced

Remembering 9/11
Yesterday was the 9th anniversary of the Islamic attack that destroyed the twin towers in New York City, hit the Pentagon in Washington DC, and forced the passengers of a jet to crash in Shanksville, PA.
President Barak Hussein Obama spent it trying to appease Muslims.
While my motto about 9/11 is "never forgive, never forget, and never submit", we have a President far more interested in convincing Americans that heretical Islam is "true" Islam because he says so.
While it may well be in the United States' best interests to pervert Islam into some sort of watered down Rick Warren-esque meaningless mainstream religion, he should not spend time trying to convince the American people that madrases funded by Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan already instruct Muslims in that manner. They don't.

2010: A Long, Hot Summer of Bombs and Misery?
While Barak Hussein Obama and his radical leftist fellow traveller Eric Holder want to treat war-making terrorists as criminals, the Islamic terrorists are plotting to attack the United States and its people directly with any means available to them. This weekend's car bomb in New York City and the earlier efforts of the panty bomber was just the first salvos in what I expect will be a series of Islamic attacks that will be conducted inside the United States this year.
Pakistan-based Taleban leader Hakimullah Mehsud appears to have survived a missile attack against him, and has vowed to attack US cities in communications since the attack. His group claimed credit for the attempted car bombing this weekend, although it remains to be seen if there is evidence that ties the Taleban this car bomb.
"The time is very near when our fedayeen will attack the American states in the major cities," said Mehsud in a recent Internet posting.
All of this comes on the heels of the statements by Noman Benotman, who was the head of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group in 2000 and a former associate of Osama bin Laden. Benotman reported in a recent interview that “What happened after the [9/11 attacks] was beyond [al Qaeda's] imagination.” He said that al Qaeda was convinced that the United States had no appetite for military actions overseas based on the US response to the terror group’s attacks on embassies in Kenya and Tanzania in 1998.
It appears that al Qaeda now understands that there are differences between George W Bush and Barak Hussein Obama, and that the United States is free to attack again without fear of a devastating military response from the United States in their own homeland. After all, the innocent must not suffer for the actions of accused criminals with legitimate gripes.
The weakness of Barak Hussein Obama and Eric Holder invites attack, and I believe attacks will come. The United States is a wide-open society full of soft targets, undocumented foreigners, and mosques. We are demonized for looking at anyone with suspicion, not matter what their behavior might be. We punish law enforcement for taking initiative to defend the nation.
The most likely response from the Obama Regime will be to further curtail the civil liberties of the American public by having the Department of Justice bring profiling cases against law enforcement, signing Executive Orders curtailing the possession and transfers of weapons and ammunition, making construction and agricultural materials harder to come by, and slapping travel bans on private citizens.
I truly believe that the Islamic enemies of the United States will not be content with bombings and shootings this year, and will attempt biological or chemical attacks within the United States. I am frankly surprised that such attacks have not yet occurred. And, frankly, the posture of the United States government invites attack.
I do not mean to suggest that Obama or Holder wish attacks upon the United States. I do suggest that they are so ignorant and inexperienced in matters of national security that they have no earthly idea how to protect a country beyond what their radical leftist professors taught them. The actions of the Obama Regime back up my beliefs. From changes in communications (no more "global war on terror" its an "overseas contingency operation" and from "terrorism" to "man-made disasters"), reading terrorists their rights before intelligence agencies can interrogate them, deciding to prosecute foreign terrorists in U.S. civilian courts, destruction of the CIA's interrogation facilities, the hiring of al Qaeda lawyers at the Department of Justice, and the attempt to shut down Guantanamo Bay all within B. Hussein Obama's first year in the Oval Office demonstrate that the Obama Regime operates in a mindset of a leftist fantasyland.
The United States economy is fragile right now, along with much of the world's economies. Even if no material terrorism occurs in the next twelve months, I believe that we will see a default of sovereign debt somewhere in the world this year.
Add to the current economic instability a series of effective terrorist attacks within the United States, and we will see an economic meltdown in the United States that will spread to Europe and Asia. This economic posture cannot be overlooked by Islamic terrorists bent on the destruction of the "Great Satan" United States. This is their moment if they truly wish to do the United States harm. We can only pray that our military, fighting with one hand tied behind its back and the Department of Justice out to prosecute anyone who fights effectively, can stave off attacks against us through the use of timely intelligence gathering and immediate, violent action based on that intelligence.
But if the intelligence leads the military to believe the actionable targets are already within the United States, all bets are off because the military has to had the intel over to the Department of Justice and look the other way.
Under the Obama/Holder regime, Justice Department intel sharing is starting to become a one way street as the DoJ has taken some or all their intelligence work completely in-house and off the government intelligence sharing processes. This action runs completely contrary to the underlying reason the Untied States reformed the intelligence services following the Trade Center Attacks by Islamic terrorists. Intelligence sharing between government agencies was at the core of the justifications for the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004. Under this law, the Department of Justice is a member of the United States' Intelligence Community under the direction of the Director of National Intelligence. The goal of the law was to force more effective sharing of national security related intelligence. A member of our intelligence community keeping their intelligence away from the other members only hinders our ability to defend the nation.

Who Fights The War Against Jihadis?
Over the past two weeks, we have seen a spate of captures of jihadists of one stripe or another. All these captures sound like good news, but what is coming from such captures is greatly worrisome to me.
From the possible capture of Adam Gadahn, to the confirmed captures of Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, Mullah Janan Andewal, Colleen LaRose, and Jamie Paulin-Ramirez, one might come to conclusion that we are prosecuting and winning the war against Islamists.
Looking deeper at the facts, however, indicated that our existing Administration is neither fighting a war, nor even aware that one exists.
Neither Baradar nor Andewal were captured by the United States. Andewal was caught by the Aussies, and Baradar was captured by Pakistanis. Of the two, Baradar is clearly the bigger catch. Baradar has not been delivered to the US by Pakistan, and likely never will be. I would hazard a guess that Baradar slipped on his protection payments to Pakistani security officials. We might have reason to suspect the intelligence being fed to us by the Pakistanis coming out of the Baradar interrogations.
Paulin-Ramirez, one of the Jihad Janes recruited by Colleen "Tokyo" LaRose, has been released - lack of evidence and all. I guess the Attorney General's office can't figure out a crime she committed. Surprise! The same Attorney General and his "at least" nine other Department of Justice employees that worked on behalf of those wrongfully accused al Qaeda prisoners in Gitmo can't seem to put their finger on a crime that might possibly have been committed by a woman who travelled to Europe for the purpose of killing someone for a cartoon they drew.
Colleen LaRose was not caught by the government, she was caught by US citizens who band together to track jihadist information on the Internet. They have no funding, keep day jobs, pay bills, and spend time with their families. In their spare time, they do the job the US government would be doing if this Administration took seriously its job to protect the country.
Of course, if this Administration took seriously its job to protect the country, it would not have announced the closure of Gitmo, would not have stated the Gitmo prisoners would be tried in US criminal courts, and would not have read a Miranda warning to Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab (the Panty Bomber) when they took him into custody (again depending on civilians for the capture).
It is clear the Barak Hussein Obama does not intend to prosecute a war against Islamist jihadis, because Muslim-born Barak Hussein Obama does not believe a war exists. But just because one believes a war does not exist does not preclude the factual existence of such a war - and such a war is being conducted by Muslim jihadis against the United States.
It is the first and most solemn duty of the President and every person working in government to protect the nation and its citizens against foreign attack. The first step in this is to believe a war exists. We know they are coming, and have come. The second step is to fight back like it is a war.
Wars cannot be won by civilian prosecutors who very recently were representing the enemy combatants in court. Only in the mind-numbingly bizarre world of the group of committed leftists currently occupying the White House would this approach to national security possibly make sense.
This Administration is endangering the lives of every citizen of the United States by ignoring threats and failing to fight the war we find ourselves in. This nation has become reliant upon the actions of civilians to ferret out and expose the threat to the United States posed by jihadis. Are you ready to accept your part in the defense of your State and the Republic?

More Army Jihadi Coverup?
Word is leaking out that five Muslim soldiers at Fort Jackson, South Carolina were arrested around Christmas 2009 in a food poisoning plot. Coming after the coverups that went on associated with jihadist Major Nidal Malik Hasan, this is not a hopeful sign that the Army gets it.

Why the US Should Bar Muslims from Military Service
Once again, yesterday, November 5, 2009, while screaming "Allah Akbar!”, Major Nidal Malik Hasan provided abject and deadly evidence that sincere Muslims cannot honestly serve in the United States military. The Army psychiatrist killed twelve and wounded more than thirty Army personnel at Fort Hood, Texas. In this, he joins such other sincere followers of Islam as Quinton Ezeagwulaby, Mir Aimal Kasi, and US Army sergeant Hasan Karim Akbar in murderously attacking those who stand watch and protect the United States of America either in the United States or on US bases.
Nidal Malik Hasan, was born in the United States, raised in genteel Virginia, public school educated, Virginia Tech graduate enrolled in ROTC, and made a doctor through the military medical school. Yet his religion prohibited him from serving in the Army of a non-Muslim nation.
I believe Nidal Malik Hasan was a sincere Muslim well versed in the Koran. The Koran clearly prohibits Muslims from serving non-Islamic masters. He was no “religion of peace” believer, because Islam is NOT a religion of peace. Islam is a religion of submission – submission to Islam.
Let there be no doubt here – the United States Army itself bears partial responsibility for this carnage by not running Major Hasan out of the service long before this event. There is ample first hand evidence that Major Hasan frequently and publicly denounced the United State’s war against Islamic terrorism and supported terrorist acts undertaking by Muslims against the United States military. In what kind of twisted, politically-correct, uber-sensitive Army would we not discharge such a disaffected, disloyal soldier?
Thank God -- and by God, I mean the God of Abraham, God the Holy Trinity, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Sprit – thank God for brave first responders and true Americans like police Sgt. Kimberly Munley who did her duty and engaged the murderous Islamic terrorist alone and injured.
What should be abundantly clear at this point is that sincere Muslims should honestly admit that they cannot in good conscience remain in the service of the United States military. Today, immediately, the United States Army must discharge all sincere Muslims as conscientious objectors – in this, there really is no shame. The government should not attempt to deprive Muslims of their faith, but the government must be honest in determining that US military service is incompatible with the Islamic faith, and we need to quit making excuses about it.
Until that happens, persons in the United States military should distrust any Muslim assigned to their unit or post. This nation must put aside its political correctness and see Islam for what it really is, not was Christians and liberals want Islam to be.

The Lie of the Lone Wolf Terrorist
Soon after the shooting of Army Privates William Long and Quinton Ezeagwulaby by a “religion of peace” adherent, Cassandra Davis, a spokeswoman for the Little Rock Police Department issued the following statement:
“[The terrorist] acted alone and was not part of a larger plot”
This statement was made without any meaningful investigative work performed, and I told folks that the statement was a lie designed to placate the public. Not surprisingly, I was right.
Now two days after this terrorist attack, we know:
Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad traveled to Yemen to study jihad on a fake Somali passport, was arrested there, and the arrest reported to the FBI.
Having this information, the FBI did NOT question Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad when he returned to the United States or even one time in the months since (do you feel better about giving up your guns so you can be “protected” by the police?)
Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad’s computer reveals additional targets in the attack planning stages.
Let’s be clear: this homegrown terrorist converted to Islam through contact with somebody in the US, had help from a Jihadi organization to travel to the Middle East for training as a terrorist and obtaining false documents, was provided weapons or money for weapons from someone, and individually or with others planned attacks against United States Army targets, a child care center, a Jewish center, and other targets within the United States itself.
THIS IS NOT A SELF-MOTIVATED “LONE WOLF” TERRORIST!!!
Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad should be held as an enemy combatant, not treated like gangbanger in an Arkansas state murder case. We should utilize enhanced interrogation techniques on him immediately to determine who his other contacts in the United States and elsewhere are, and go round those folks up for interrogation.
Islamists are plotting attacks within the United States, and the FBI is more interested in performing surveillance on the Tea Parties. The world truly has turned upside down.

Homegrown Terrorism - 24 Hours Later
Nearly 24 hours after the shooting of Army Privates William Long and Quinton Ezeagwulaby by a cowardly Islamic terrorist, President Obama has yet to express his sorrow or outrage at this attack. Not one word.
This must be the most callous Commander in Chief our Republic has ever seen.
UPDATE: Obama has announced his choice for a new Secretary of the Army this afternoon. While it is newsworthy that he could not find a Democrat to entrust the Army to, it is more newsworthy that Obama STILL HAS NOT MENTIONED the death of William Long and shooting of Quinton Ezeagwulaby by an Islamic terrorist.

More Homegrown Terrorism
As predictably as it fell off of the front pages of all but the local news coverage, it has finally been revealed that the shooter of two Army recruiters in Arkansas today was a home-grown terrorist: a faithful follower of the “religion of peace” – Islam. The slain soldier is Private William Long, 24, of Conway, Arkansas. Also injured by the gunfire was Pvt. Quinton Ezeagwula of Jacksonville, Arkansas.
Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad (f/k/a Carlos Bledsoe) is reported to be angry that the Army keeps killing muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan (neither soldier shot today had ever been deployed to either Iraq or Afghanistan). Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad hailed from Memphis, Nashville, and recently moved to Little Rock. Anyone thinking that the problem of home-grown Islamic terrorism is only a problem of large, northern cities, think again. Islamic terrorists are created anywhere there is a mosque.
I would be remiss if I did not point out that the terrorist slaying of an Army recruiter and the shooting of another could not occupy the attention the top stories on Google News, but a two day old killing of a late-term abortion doctor is still dominating the left wing news site. The threat of Islamic terrorism, which is now responsible for over 3,000 deaths in the United States, does not fit the narrative of the mainstream media like the slaying of a single exterminator of innocent human lives.
I would also note the New York Times’ reporting of the terrorist slaying today may mark the first occasion that the nation’s “newspaper of record” reported an SKS rifle only as “a Russian-made SKS semiautomatic rifle” and not an “assault rifle” as they normally do. It is only a semi-automatic rifle when an Islamic terrorist uses it to shoot unarmed American soldiers. To the New York Times, this is a story to be buried and forgotten.

Keep Guantanamo Jihadis Out of US Prisons
Here are a few really good reasons to NOT send al-Qaeda into our prisons:
Richard Reid - attempted to detonate a shoe bomb on a trans-Atlantic flight
Jose Padilla - attempted to obtain and detonate a dirty bomb on US soil
James Cromitie, David Williams Laguerre Payen and Onta Williams - attempted to bomb synagogues around New York
Kevin James, Levar Washington, Gregory Patterson - conducted armed robberies to fund terrorist bombings in California
Aqil Collins - Afghanistan terror camp trained jihadi captured by the FBI
What do all these people have in common? Prison conversions to Islam which lead to conducting Jihad against the United States.
Throw in Jihad-enabling attorney Lynne Stewart who was using her privileged access to prison-bound terrorists to exchange correspondence between terrorists inside and outside of prison.
It is already well demonstrated that US prisons have become a breeding ground for Islam, Jihad, and terrorism.
Why on earth would the Obama administration wish to add hardened Islamic jihadis from Guantanamo into the recruitment of US prisoners?
If you infer intent from the most likely result of a behavior, Obama intends to increase the incidence of terrorists being recruited in US prisons. Naturally, leftist intelligentsia has no problem with this. To date, the U.S. Senate has not had the stomach to go along with this. Let's see how long that holds up.

The Taleban and the Naiveté of the Liberal
One overriding principle of the American liberal is that when it comes to foreign policy, a liberal cannot see the world for what it is. Blinded by their own self-righteousness and feelings of moral superiority, they surrender our best weapons, jettison our imperfect friends, and condemn millions to slavery under dictatorial regimes.
The latest demonstration of this as it related to the Obama administration comes, not unexpectedly, in relation to our Islamist enemies. Juxtapose these two news stories:
The Taleban Takes Human Shields In Fight With Pakistani Troops; reportedly holding 2,000 villagers as human shields to stop the Pakistani military from retaking a Northwestern Pakistan District.
and
Obama Administration releases secret interrogation memos: says the United States will not use coercive interrogation techniques in the future. The “reasoning” goes that if we treat Islamist fighters gently, they will treat American prisoners gently as well.
Of course, there are no living American prisoners of Islamists, and those taken prisoner by Islamists don’t live very long. Let alone tortured for year. Most are beheaded on video tape for showing via Aljazeera or Live Leak.
The Taleban’s mentality is a throwback to the 14th century. They didn’t sign the Geneva Conventions, nor did Islamists, and adherence to Western notions of kind treatment for prisoners is viewed as weakness.
Furthermore, the actions described in the memos were not torture. It is hard for liberals --who spend years on a head shrink’s couch being medicated by anti-depressants to deal with most modern inconveniences of living like showing up for work, raising their offspring, and dealing with their parents’ aging process -- to understand that stress is not torture.
Stress is not torture. Stress positions are not torture.
Basic training is not torture. Sleep deprivation is not torture. Extreme physical activity is not torture.
Being dunked in a swimming pool by your older brother is not torture.
Spook house frights are not torture.
Anything that costs a person $300 an hour in Vegas is not torture.
Listening to liberals pontificate about how we should treat Islamists – that’s torture.

Obama's Insidious Lies in Turkey
“We will convey our deep appreciation for the Islamic faith, which has done so much over the centuries to shape the world — including in my own country[sic].”
So said Barak Hussein Obama in a speech to the parliament of Turkey, and referring (I think) to the United States, not Kenya.
I have parsed his language for several days, trying to peel off the layers of this onion. It is a masterful statement, which includes two lies, one a white lie, and one a truthful statement told for a disingenuous purpose.
Let me start the critique with another quote from his speech: “The United States has been enriched by Muslim Americans.” Again, this is a truth told for a disingenuous purpose. It is true that more than one Muslim American has paid taxes, thus enriching the United States. It is also true that more than one Muslim American has served his country honorably in the service of the military. However, there is nothing particular to the fact that they were Muslim that makes their actions enriching to the United States. Paying taxes and serving honorably is common to all major faiths in the United States, except for the Pennsylvania Dutch Amish.
Just for fun, perform an Internet search on “great American Muslims”. The responses are Malcolm X and Louis Farrakhan. The adjective “enriching” does not spring to mind.
As to the initial quote, there are three elements to the sentence:1. We [the United States] has a “deep appreciation for the Islamic faith”.2. The Islamic faith has done so much over the centuries to shape the world.3. The Islamic faith has done so much to shape the United States.
One of these elements is a truthful statement not told for a disingenuous purpose. It is true that the Islamic faith has shaped the world over the centuries. Too bad they stopped progressing past the 14th Century.
Now to the white lie about a deep appreciation of the Islamic faith. Clearly he is saying this to be nice and curry favor with people who really cannot and do not help the United States. Most United States citizens do not understand the tenants of the Islamic faith, have never read the Koran, and do not understand Islamic history. What they know about Islam, they do not like at all. And, the mainstream media continues to lie about the so called “Religion of Peace” at every turn, so what Americans might appreciate about the Islamic faith is really not true Islam.
But the third phrase is the insidious lie, in that is the truthful on its face, but is implied that the truth is positive. In fact, Islamists HAVE worked to shape the United States, almost exclusively to the detriment of the United States and its citizens. Here is a little history:

Nov. 4, Tehran, Iran: Iranian Islamists seized the U.S. embassy, taking 66 hostages. 14 were later released. The remaining 52 were held for 444 days and released only after President Carter agreed to pay ransom.
1983
April 18, Beirut, Lebanon: U.S. embassy destroyed in suicide car-bomb attack; 63 dead, including 17 Americans. The Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility.
Oct. 23, Beirut, Lebanon: Shiite suicide bombers exploded truck near U.S. military barracks at Beirut airport, killing 241 marines.
Dec. 12, Kuwait City, Kuwait: Shiite truck bombers attacked the U.S. embassy and other targets, killing 5 and injuring 80.
1984
Sept. 20, east Beirut, Lebanon: truck bomb exploded outside the U.S. embassy annex, killing 24, including 2 U.S. military.

Since September 11, 2001 no successful Islamic terrorists attacks have occurred in the United States, but attacks to US locations and citizens persists overseas.

May 12, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: Muslim homicide bombers kill 34, including 8 Americans, at housing compounds for Westerners.

Dec. 6, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia: Muslim terrorists storm the U.S. consulate, killing 5 consulate employees.

Nov. 9, Amman, Jordan: Muslim suicide bombers hit 3 American hotels, Radisson, Grand Hyatt, and Days Inn, in Amman, Jordan, killing 57.

Sept. 16, Yemen: a car bomb and a rocket strike the U.S. embassy in Yemen as staff arrived to work, killing 16 people, including 4 civilians. Islamic terrorists conducted the attack.

Sept. 16, Yemen: a car bomb and a rocket strike the U.S. embassy in Yemen as staff arrived to work, killing 16 people, including 4 civilians. Islamic terrorists conducted the attack.
President Barak Hussein Obama may enjoy going overseas to bow and scrape to Islamists and apologizing for the United States offending Muslim sensibilities, but the American citizens do not suffer from such warped thinking. Obama has been one embarrassment after another to the United States. In time, this embarrassment will be shaken from this great nation as the earth shook off the dinosaurs.
