Election Day!

Or, put another way, "Remove the Stain of Barak Hussein Obama from American Politics" Day!

Today we can rebuke and remove America's first anti-American president.

Today we can rebuke and replace the Reid/Pelosi congress.

Today we can set the nation on a path of recovery and renewal!

We can repeal the government takeover of healthcare - Obamacare - and get rid of it. (Also, disabuse some "conservatives" of crafting some kind of interstate "market" for health care insurance that just begs for federal regulation of interstate commerce).

Today we can start fixing the economy instead of harming it.

Every dollar taken from the economy in taxes is a net loss to the economy. We must lower taxes and slash federal spending. NOW!

Today we can fix it so we rescue Ambassadors under attack by terrorists instead of letting them die in the street.

Today we can avoid plunging off the fiscal cliff and defuse the January 1 tax bomb.

Today we can chase Chicago/Alinsky politics out of Washington.

Today is the day of the American Renewal.  Let's make it happen today!

Obama's Redistribution Plan Is Working As Designed

Private pay is down, government handouts of taxpayer money is up. Just like Obama told Joe the Plumber in a rare moment of honesty. Of course, tax revenues are down and the taxable base of private workers is shrinking, just like Greece.
White House approved media story at the link "Private Pay Shrinks To Historic Lows" cannot hide the facts.

More Lies from The Liar In Chief

While B. Hussein Obama told the socialists at Barbara ("Don't Call Me Ma'am") Boxer's fundraiser this week that he was trying to "lower taxes on 98% of Americans" [well, Mexicans are Americans, too], not even Obama's sycophantic press could suppress the following stories:

Millions face tax increases under Dems budget plan:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100421/ap_on_go_co/us_congress_budget

Obama suggests value-added tax may be an option:

Tax increases are on the way, it is what Democrats do. They think it is their money, not yours.

Obama to Double Down on Socialism

For nearly half a year, the American people have pointed out the most outrageous and costly elements of the Democrat's socialist health care nationalization plan. And for half a year, Obama's lackeys have claimed "that's not the President's plan."

This week, B. Hussein Obama is set to reveal his plan. It turns out that the Reid-Pelosi plan was not costly or socialist enough for a true Statist like the Anointed One.

To the extent the Federal government should be involved in health care "reform", it must be to reduce the Federal role in health care -- after all, everyone agrees that the existing health care projections and expenditures in the Federal budget are unsustainable. But only in a Statist's wildest Socialistic dreams could an exercise in cost reduction result in the quintupling of the size of the program and budget.

Unlike most of the Conservative commentators, I hope the GOP does meet with B. Hussein Obama on television this week, and they should launch a principled and unrelenting critique of the Anointed One's plan, destroying it element by element. The American people do not want Socialized medicine, do not want a Federal takeover of health care, and do not want Washington DC running their lives.

The GOP does not need to propose an alternative plan to win this. Doing nothing is better than enacting any Democrat's plan. It is appropriate and instructive to recall the first principle of the Hippocratic oath -- first do no harm.

Update: As more details come out, the Anointed One's plan has all the tried and failed socialist remedies: higher taxes, higher government spending, higher deficits, more government control over citizen lives and medical decisions, prices controls, a huge new bureaucracy, and illogical reasoning: we're spending your money to save it.

Additional Update: Follow this media talking point: "Mandating insurance coverage for all Americans will mean that the insured will stop paying for the medical expenses of the uninsured. And there are government insurance vouchers to pay for insurance for those who can't afford it."

The Jobs Bill Joke

All this talk about a "Jobs Bill" is downright laughable. The government cannot create jobs (certainly not private sector, entrepreneurial jobs). The government can only create more government, and to do so, will rob the economy of job producing private capital.

For a president that claims he is not an ideologue, all of his proposed solutions only come out of one book: Das Kapital by Karl Marx.

The Republicans should put forth a real solution: deep, permanant cuts to the federal tax rates, and deep, permanent cuts to the federal budget, starting with so-called "entitlements."

Obama Proposes Out of Control Spending - Again

“We can no longer afford to spend as if deficits don't matter and waste is not our problem. We can no longer afford to leave the hard choices for the next budget, the next administration -- or the next generation" B. Hussein Obama said as he proposed a wasteful $3,400,000,000,000.00 budget that explodes the deficit, makes no hard choices, and puts the debt burden squarely on the next generation.

But Obama wants credit as a budget trimmer for proposing cuts to certain programs that amount to one half of one percent (0.5%) of his budget. By comparison, if you were buying a $34,000 car, you would be asking the dealer for $170 off to “seal the deal.” What a joke!

By comparison, George Bush’s last budget proposed twice the amount for savings, and still kept the F-22 and a new fleet of Marine One helicopters in the budget.

The mainstream media will tell you that this budget costs “every American” $11,500. NOT! Not every American pays taxes. This budget will cost the average taxpayer about $24,000.00 in direct and indirect taxes, with “the rich” being hit for the top 85% of the revenue generation.

While more than half of all Americans pay no income tax at all, each of them still get hit with the indirect tax portion of about $10,000.00 a year.

The Tea Parties must continue to push the message that this Obama Administration wants a government that is too big, too socialist, and unconstitutional in scope.

Here Comes Cap and Tax

Over the weekend, the fruits, nuts, watermelons, Socialists, and good old fashioned Statists masquerading as the “environmental” movement issued a new lexicon of marketing words to try to convince a wary American public that their plans will not destroy the economy in the midst of a recession. They need these new marketing works because the existing marketing words were not adequate to convince the American public to drink the toxic plans the Statists have for driving the American economy back to the pre-industrial revolution.

Believing the current terms like “global warming” and “cap and trade” engender honest images of shaggy tree-huggers, bad science, and high societal costs on flimsy evidence, the eco-Statists believe they need a marketing makeover, beginning with new buzz words.

The new Orwellian eco-terms for the economy crushing cap and trade scheme are “cap and cash back” or “pollution reduction refund.” These terms are so entirely laughable that I hope these eco-communists proceed with this farce.

The correct revised term for cap and trade is “cap and tax.” The cap and trade legislation before Congress now will increase costs dramatically for power producers, and this will generate a tax on all consumers of power, not only at the power meter, but also increased consumer prices due to increased power costs to manufacturers and food producers. The fact that the proposal includes tax credits to low income persons (who don’t pay taxes anyway) indicates that they know for a fact that they know it will increase prices nationwide on everything.

However, these scheming eco-Orewellians have a powerful friend in the radical leftist Barak Obama, and what Obama wants, Obama will demand he gets. In Obama’s effort to destroy and “remake” the United States, all vestiges of free markets must be destroyed via government control. In the midst of the bank and car industry crises, Obama even sent Timothy “Timmah!” Geithner up to Congress with a budget document proposing their Cap and Tax scheme.

Beware America. The anti-success, anti-wealth eco-campaigners have a bevy of proposals to lower your standard of living and increase the expense of everything you need.

It is April 15th -- Tea Party Tax Protest Day!

"Today is the last day for filing income tax returns -- a day that reminds us that taxpayers pay too much of their earnings to the Federal Government. ... While April 15 serves as a reminder, the people of the United States truly do not need to be reminded. They are victims of inflation, which pushes them into higher tax brackets. They are robbed daily of a better standard of living. They are discouraged from work and investment. ... The choice before us is clear. I strongly feel that the great majority of Americans believe that nothing would better encourage economic growth than leaving more money in the hands of the people who earn it. It's time to stop stripping bare the productive citizens of America and funneling their hard-earned income into the Federal bureaucracy." --Ronald Reagan

Today is the day that government demands its pound of flesh.

And today is the day you can do something about out of control government. Please attend your local Tax Day Tea Party. Stand up as our Founders stood up. Stand up and support what our Founders supported. The Founders all supported limited government, but it seems only Conservatives do today.

Support for limited government does not simply mean opposing unnecessary and unconstitutional spending. It also means that Conservatives support the rights of the individual and the several States against the encroachment upon their rights by the federal government. It also means keeping a check on the ability of the federal government to coerce individuals and the several States to behave in a way which is in contravention to their rights. Mostly, it means Conservatives must constantly remind themselves, and the federal government, that whatever power the federal government does enjoy, it enjoys by the consent of the people, which consent may be withdrawn at any time. Rights do not flow from the government down, instead, the power to infringe upon individual rights flows down from individuals and State governments to the federal government.

Today is a good day to remind the federal government of this truth!
