Socialism on the March

I had no idea when I started this blog that we were just a few short months to the most naked socialist bailout of Democrat supporters who prospered and screwed up under the complete lack of Democrat oversight -- Wall Street financiers.

The 700 billion dollar bailout of these elitist Democrat donors on the backs of the middle class is naked, blatant, undemocratic, socialism of risk and loss. The bill foisted upon the American taxpayer by the politicial elite shall be the real damning legacy of President George W. Bush. Bush has been poorly served by his Secretary of the Treasury Henry Paulson, an unworth successor to Alexander Hamilton.

Where is the American leader who will stand up for free markets and personal/corporate responsibility? Where is the American leader who will prevent the raping of the middle class? Will the American public have the brains or fortitude to throw all these bums out of office?

Marxist Quote of the Day

"[W]hen I'm President, I will set a goal for all American middle and high school students to perform 50 hours of service a year, and for all college students to perform 100 hours of service a year. This means that by the time you graduate college, you'll have done 17 weeks of service. We'll reach this goal in several ways. At the middle and high school level, we'll make federal assistance conditional on school districts developing service programs, and give schools resources to offer new service opportunities." -- Barak Obama

A goal is not a goal if the goal has dollars tied to it.

Unfortunately for real Black Americans, Obama has no ancestors that were held in slavery in the United States. If he had, Obama would know the following section of the United States Constitution by heart: "Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction."

Whether you call it slavery or "national service", involuntary servitude is prohibited by the United States Constitution. Of course, dedicated Marxists do not allow little things like laws or the Constitution to get in the way of forcing Americans toward slavery to the almighty government.

Of course, this is yet another good reason to abolish the United States Department of Education.

Big Win for the Good Guys!

In an audacious rescue operation worthy of a Hollywood script, the Colombian military rescued three US Defense Contractors and twelve other hostages from the grips of the Marxist FARC. The three Americans, Marc Gonsalves, Keith Stansell, and Thomas Howes, were captured in 2003 while working for the Northrop Grumman Corporation after their surveillance plane went down on an antinarcotics mission.

To achieve the rescue, the Colombian military special operations forces poses as members of a Non-Governmental Organization (“NGO”) sympathetic to the Marxists, and conned the Marxists into giving the hostages over for a helicopter trip for additional humiliation.

What was telling about the whole thing is how easily Marxists guerillas believe that an NGO is sympathetic to them, and working with them. That is because nearly all NGOs are chuck full of Marxists, Communists, Socialists, and other America-haters. NGOs are loved by the despots at the UN, so much so, there is a special UN-NGO liaison office so NGOs can act as influencers at the UN. Of course, the United States funds the lion’s share of that UN office’s work.

But I digress. This duping of the Marxists freeing American citizens held for nearly five years is a huge win for the forces of freedom. The Marxist FARC has been taking it on the chin all year from Colombia President Alvaro Uribe, a true friend of the United States in Latin America.

There still remain hundreds of hostages held by the Marxists in Colombia. I pray that all of them will be safely released or rescued.

RIP -- Jesse Helms

Former Senator Jesse Helms, as stalwart defender of Freedom as ever trod the halls of the United States Congress, passed away, fittingly, on July 4, 2008.

Jesse Helms was forefront on pushing back Communists, Marxists, and Socialists, often having to fight the US State Department to do so. Senator Helms was front and center on pointing out the corruption and uselessness of the United Nations. Senator Helms fought to fund pro-US fighters in what was always a hot "Cold War".

Jesse Helms also revivied the flagging campaign of Ronald Reagan in 1976, helping Reagan win North Carolina when Reagan was losing to Gerald Ford elsewhere. Gerald Ford's White House should never have snubbed Alexander Solzhenitsyn when Jesse Helms brought him to the US. Payback is Hell.

Senator Helms was persistent, consistent, principled, and tenacious. Oh, if only today's GOP could follow his example.

Stalinist Quote of the Day

In my opinion, these [fossil energy company] CEOs should be tried for high crimes against humanity and nature. -- James Hansen, Director of the NASA Goddard Institute of Space Sciences.

Nothing like a good show trial to teach a lesson to those heretics of the religion of radical environmentalism and government control of the economy.

Marxist Quote of the Day

We [the government] should own the [oil] refineries. Then we [the government] can control how much gets out into the market." -- Maurice Hinchey D-NY

Marxist Quotes of the Day

"I am very angry, frankly, at the oil companies not only because of the obscene profits they've made but at their failure to invest in alternate energy to help us eliminate our dependence on foreign oil."

"Any profit ... by speculators, no matter where they are in the world, it has to be addressed and addressed seriously."

- Senator John McCain, June 12, 2008

McCain sounds just like Hugo Chavez to me.

A True Tragedy

A Boy Scout Camp in Iowa took a direct hit from a tornado last night shortly after the Scouts finished dinner. Four young men lost their lives, and approximately fifty more were injured. The Scouts killed in the disaster were Aaron Eilerts, 14 from Eagle Grove, Iowa; Josh Fennen, 13, Sam Thomsen, 13, and Ben Petrzilka, 13, all from Omaha, Nebraska. May God reach out and bring each of the deceased Boy Scouts their heavenly reward and comfort their surviving families and friends.
The surviving Boy Scouts all showed tremendous courage and fidelity to the highest standards of Scouting when, immediately after the tornado passed, they applied their Scout training and worked to rescue, treat, comfort, and help the injured and trapped.
My God bless and keep and comfort each affected Boy Scout, their Scouting leaders, and their families.
While the death of any child is a tragedy, these young men were some of the best and brightest of their respective communities, making this a truly grievous tragedy.

Red Alert -- John McCain

I hear rumblings that John McCain - RINO-AZ is stumping against "excessive" pay for individuals. This sounds like the same John McCain who believes there is such a thing as an "obscene profit."

Markets, boards, and shareholders set pay standards, not the government, except in Communist governments. Sounds like John McCain is getting comfortable with the concept of government control of wages, which means he is comfortable with the kind of socialism that crushes individual rights and control of one's own destiny. McCain has a habit of being anti-liberty and overly controlling. There appears to be no real choice in this year's presidential election.

Senate Republicans who favor socialism

The following GOP Senators backed the socialists' attempt in the Senate to set the nation on a path to nationalize the oil companies:

Norm Coleman - RINO-MN
Susan Collins - RINO-ME
Charles Grassley - RINO-IA
Gordon Smith - RINO-OR
Olympia Snowe - RINO-ME
John Warner - RINO-VA

Idiots.

If the GOP is wondering why I trash its mailings asking for donations to the party, look no further than votes like these for the answer.

Marxist Action in the Senate Today

Longing for the good old days of Jimmy Carter’s gas shortages and cars lining up for blocks for empty gas pumps, the Democrats in the Senate brought a bill to the floor to day to levy additional, higher taxes on the “unreasonable profit” of the oil companies.

The stench of socialism, communism, and Marxism is all over this bill. When people engage in an arms-length transaction, there is no such thing as a reasonable or unreasonable profit. While the intellectually crippled elitist John McCain believes there may be such a thing as an “obscene” profit, I contend that in economics, the only obscenity is bankruptcy. Profits do not put people out of work; profits do not harm people’s retirement accounts; profits do not fall on businesses that are managed poorly. Losses are harmful and obscene. Profits are good.

Of course, Congress does was doing what it knows best – engaging in subterfuge. The fundamental cause contributing to the rise in the price of oil is Congress! For Congress to point a finger at any other body (let alone punish any other party) for oil prices is the pinnacle of hypocrisy. Congress prohibits United States energy independence by their overbearing environmental laws and regulatory morass. Congress makes more profit on a gallon of gasoline than the oil companies do. Congress permits illegal cartel price setting for oil.

Furthermore, the concept that the leftists could raise taxes on producers and somehow lower the price of the product flies in the face of all common sense.

Of course, the real goal of the socialists and communists in Congress is that they wanted to further increase the price of gasoline, in order to further enrage the populace, and then move on following their hero Hugo Chavez’s move to nationalize the oil companies. This from a Congress that cannot manage its own dining facility in a break even manner!

Yes, the socialists and communists in Congress are exposing themselves over oil. Maxine Waters D-CA told oil execs “This liberal will be about socializing; would be about -- about -- about basically -- taking over and the government running all of your companies!”

There you have it, the Democrat/socialist/Communist/Marxist agenda of the majority party in Congress laid bare for all to see.

If Congress’ reckless deficit spending had not so devalued the dollar, oil prices would not seem so high, but that is a subject for a different post.

Marxist Quote of the Day

“The oil companies need to know that there is a limit on how much profit they can take in this economy,” said Sen. Dick Durbin D-IL.

Why this blog?

The year is 2008. It is becoming increasingly apparent to me that the combined forces of socialism in all its strains -- socialists, communists, environmentalists, anarchists, Democrats, "moderate" Republicans, RINOs, progressives, one-world advocates, regulators, single-payer medical plan advocates, newspaper conglomerates, elitists, Marxists, and empty-headed do-gooders of all stripes -- have reached a level of power in the United States that threatens the very fabric of this nation and the God-given liberties of its people.

These forces are no longer having the nation slouch towards more government control of our lives and the economy. These forces are now convinced that they can cause the nation to sprint towards the implementation of socialism in the United States.

The evidence of this is plain for all to see. This blog is to try to get all the evidence into one place so that citizens will be aware of the threat the forces of socialism pose to our nation. This nation defeated Communism in Europe, and now seems willing to impose it on ourselves.

But, Socialism cannot be imposed in the United States -- it is chosen. Most often, it is chosen because citizens are too concerned with other matters than to defeat socialists at the ballot box. Hopefully, Red Warning will be the alarm that wakes a sleeping citizenry into action.

We are past needing a Red Alert. This is a Red Warning.
