It is noted with sadness that yesterday former Cabinet Secretary and Congressman Jack Kemp died of cancer.Jack Kemp epitomized the true concept of "Compassionate Conservatism". Jack Kemp understood that conservatism was the real philosophy of hope, because conservatism provided opportunity for everyone to keep what they earn, spend as they see fit, and attempt growth and success without burdensome government diktats.
Jack Kemp was a conservative lion of the Reagan Revolution. His voice and optimism will be sorely missed.
